The Strictly team will be returning to The Lowry in Salford this May for their ‘Strictly The Professionals’ 2024 tour.
This show will feature 12 members of Strictly’s professional dancing team at The Lowry on Tuesday May 14 and Wednesday May 15.
The show will also be supported by professional singers and a live band (as seen on TV).
Directed by Strictly’s Creative Director Jason Gilkison, Strictly The Professionals aims to “surprise and delight audiences with dance and choreography at the highest possible standard.”
The 37-date tour officially launched last Wednesday (April 25) at the New Theatre in Oxford.
Reigning champion Vito Coppola, who lifted the glitterball trophy in December with actress Ellie Leach, was among the 12 dancers who kicked off the first night.
Other performers from the BBC’s flagship show included the Big Brother 2024 runner-up Nikita Kuzmin, who was joined by Dianne Buswell, Neil Jones, Luba Mushtuk, Graziano Di Prima, Carlos Gu, Michelle Tsiakkas and Nancy Xu.
Ukrainian-born Nikita described last year as his “favourite tour ever”.
“This year is going to be even bigger and better. We’ll have lots of personal sides to the show and special reminders for the people who watched the last season of Strictly,” he teased.
