A new 10-stall food hall and shisha bar on Salford’s Bury New Road has been given the green light by Salford City Council.

Planning permission has been granted for the hall, after it was submitted for approval back in September 2021.

It is expected to feature up to 10 market stalls and have space for up to 200 diners. The centre is planned to replace an old car repair garage, with the redevelopment hoping to attract new local businesses and restaurants.

The site is next to the Tim Hortons restaurant on the corner of Appian Way and Bury New Road.

Design practice, Millson Group, which helped created Manchester’s Albert Hall and Albert Schloss, is working with the site owner and applicant the Al-Mehdi Group on the plans.
