Salford XL Bully dog owners advised to provide free online muzzle training through the charity organisation Dogs Trust.

The Dogs Trust desperately aims to end the ban on XL bully dogs by providing training to Salford owners to help make their pets feel comfortable wearing a muzzle.

The charity organization will be holding free online sessions throughout October to support all dog owners considering recent news.

With the first free session already fully booked it shows the contrasting views among the public on whether this ban has caused more relief or panic.

After a man was mauled to death, the unfortunate event has caused a stir among whether bully dogs are a danger to communities and will be banned.

Whereas other parts of society are fearing having to give up their beloved pets, after the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak “shared the nation’s horror” and plans on not allowing them to continue. Many dog owners shared their concerns and anger through social media comments about the immediate ban placed by Mr Sunak.

@a1c3z7 commented: “People need to understand while most of the time it’s the owner’s fault, different dog breeds are genetically built for certain things…bullies have natural fighting instincts and are extremely well built for fighting.”

@rounce commented: “Look at the state of them they look evil and not like they’re small like a chihuahua or other yappy dogs you can just boot away.”

@roydelabar added: “Ban the Tories. It’s not about a handful of badly trained politicians, it is a pattern of behavior, and it cannot go on.”

>@jonny_fnhka said: “they will ban everything except what matters.”

The community’s organization Dogs Trust plans on finding a new solution through introducing muzzles for all dog owners so that they can “prepare them for the restrictions.” Instead of the quick and ‘irrational’ decision made by the PM the community aims to find multiple solutions to prevent any complaints to be made against them.

Dog Control Coalition said: “The recent incidents are deeply distressing and our thoughts are with all those involved…but banning the breed will sadly not stop these types of incidents recurring.

“The UK Government must tackle the root issue by dealing with the breeders, who are putting profit before welfare, and the irresponsible owners whose dogs are dangerously out of control.”

The Coalition made up of RSPCA, Blue Cross, Dogs Trust and many more, believe that Mr. Sunak needs to understand the consequences and are deeply concerned about the lack of data behind this decision.

To book free muzzle training sessions you can book on Eventbrite.
