Oldham Athletic continue their FA Cup campaign this evening when they travel to Lincoln City in the second round of the FA Cup.
The Latics will look to avoid being a cup casualty as they take on Danny Cowley’s side who are flying high in the National League and keen to cause an FA Cup shock at Sincil Bank.
Steve Robinson’s side have gone two weeks without a game after Saturday’s scheduled League One fixture with Peterborough United fell foul of the weather and they’ll be hoping to avoid rustiness against an Imps side who are in blistering form.
Lincoln have won seven of their last eight games, including their last four and are unbeaten in fourteen matches across both the league and FA Cup.
Oldham aren’t in such good form however, their only victory in their last seven clashes being the 2-1 success over Doncaster Rovers in the previous round of the competition.
With the carrot of a spot in the FA Cup third round, against potentially one of the biggest sides in the country, awaiting the winner, expect both teams to fight tooth and nail for victory this evening.

Team News:
Lincoln
The hosts will be without centre-back Sean Raggett after the 23 year-old was sent off in Tuesday night’s win over Wrexham.
The ex-Dover defender starts his three game ban after a strong tackle against the Dragons and will leave a void in the Lincoln defence which may be difficult to fill.
Callum Howe and Elliot Whitehouse will also be unavailable as both are cup-tied.
Oldham Athletic
The Latics should have the ex-Leeds and Derby County midfielder Paul Green available after the Republic of Ireland international recovered from a recent calf problem whilst Dutchman Mark Klock is rated as a doubt.

Ones to watch:
The Imps will look to talismanic frontman Matt Rhead to fire his side into the third round of the cup. The 32 year-old has been in prolific form since moving from Mansfield Town in the summer of 2015. The striker has been averaging one in two games in Lincolnshire with 31 goals in his 62 appearances.
Steve Robinson’s side have scored just 11 goals in 19 games so perhaps will look to shut-out the visitors to have any chance of progression. Hence experienced centre-back Peter Clarke will be crucial for his team.
The defender is best-known for his spell at the heart of Huddersfield Town’s defence where he picked up 225 appearances across all competitions and he’ll look to use that expertise at Sincil Bank this evening.
