Now working at Unity Radio 92.8FM station, the artist has been working withyoung people by teaching them how to express themselves through music.

Throughout the song, there are references to the substances and issues that he struggled with personally – but throughout the song it also sheds light on the changes that he made to his life.

From Irlam, the young musician said: “I got addicted to all sorts, and that was going on for three years, and only recently I got off that sort of stuff.

“I work at Unity Radio now, working on a Monday or a Wednesday, and basically teach young people how to do music production.

“I started on the courses, and I was able to complete all the courses at the station from the age of 13 – it was a lot of hard work but I completed them.”

“The responses have been amazing, and I have had a few people open up to me – and have heard people say that the song has helped them.

“I have had radio stations playing the track, I couldn’t have asked for a better response.

“It means the world to me, because I wish had the chance to hear something like this and help me get on the right path.”

He added: “It is great to see that my music can make a difference, even if that is on a small scale at the moment, it great to think what I could do for my community.”
