Salford Red Devils have announced the signing of Castleford Tigers young talent George Hill on a one-month loan.
The deal will see George Hill join the Salford Red Devils with immediate effect, with the deal being made as a part of the Tigers addition of Brad Singleton.
The 20-year-old progressed through the Tigers’ youth system before bursting onto the scene with an impressive debut against Wigan Warriors.
He joined the Castleford Tigers academy in 2022 after a successful trial, aged 18.
The loose forward or hooker has previously played for Whitehaven and the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship on loan and dual registration from Castleford.
And Hill will join the Red Devils this week ahead of the Betfred Super League clash against the Warriors, this Sunday.
The hooker and loose forward will be at Paul Rowley’s disposal in our Round Six clash and will wear squad number 43.
We can confirm George Hill has joined the Club from Castleford Tigers on a one-month loan!

Head Coach, Paul Rowley has said: “I’ve watched George play and like his enthusiasm and commitment.
“I am confident his addition to our squad will be a positive move for both George and ourselves, and I look forward to working with him.”
Hill will remain at the club and play for the Red Devils until the end of April – with fixtures against Wigan Warriors, Catalan Dragons, Leeds Rhinos, and Leigh Leopards.
The addition will hopefully be another strong addition to the team, as the new hooker and loose forward will look to make a strong impression with his time at the club.
