Salford Red Devils player Chris Atkin included in Round 5 team of the week

Salford Red Devils half-back Chris Atkin has been included in the the Betfred Super League team of the week for Round Five.

The Red Devils won their second game on the bounce, beating the Huddersfield Giants 23-10.

Chris Atkin put on an incredible all round performance and played a vital role in the Red Devils victory.

The player has made the name “Mr Versatile” during his time at the Red Devils. He unselfishly switches out of his natural position on a consistent basis to always put the team first.

Atkin covered an exceptional 141 metres and also made 23 tackles. The player also kicked a pressure-relieving 40-20 at the stroke of half-time.

The Red Devils player has just been sponsored for the rest of the season by digital media company, Mosaic Digital Media.

The Red Devils next game comes against Wigan Warriors. Atkin will hope to replicate his recent performances on Sunday, to maintain the Red Devils winning streak.
