Angry Ginge - Soccer Aid Youtube

Salford born YouTuber and streamer Angry Ginge will play for England in this year’s Soccer Aid.

The Salford streamer will play for the England side alongside other famous faces such as footballing legend Wayne Rooney, record breaker Sir Mo Farah, Euro winner Jill Scott and previous Manchester United captain Gary Neville.

The charity football event will take place on Saturday 15 June at Manchester United’s Old Trafford.

Angry Ginge recently played at Wembley, in the Sidemen charity match, and will be managed by boxing legend Tyson Fury, who makes his first appearance at the yearly charity game.

The Salford Youtuber will hope to bring his defensive skills to lead England to a second successive win. England beat the World XI 6-3 last year, with goals coming from England legend’s Joe Cole, Ellen White, Jermain Defoe and Theo Walcott and a brace from Steven Bartlett.

Angry Ginge has a history of playing at centre-back in charity matches, along with picking up a goal or two, and has been nicknamed “The Postman” as he always delivers a stellar performance.

Soccer Aid is played to raise money for charity UNICEF and tickets will cost from £20 for Adults and £10 for children. To buy tickets click here.
