Salford Red Devils fourth round against Bradford in Challenge Cup

Salford Red Devils will travel away to Craven Park as they will prepare for Super League clash against Hull KR.

The Red Devils will be hoping to return to winning form, after head coach Paul Rowley encouraged his team to become more physical following the defeat to Leeds Rhinos.

Salford sit directly at the bottom of the league table, and will be hoping that they can get the better of the home side tonight.

However, this will be no easy task for the Red Devils as Hull KR have started the league campaign unbeaten.

The home side will be looking to once again pick up another victory at Craven Park after beating Castleford Tigers (19-18) and Wakefield Trinity (12-14).

And with Salford’s recent run of form losing 82-0 to St Helens, and 32-6 to the Rhinos – it will be more than just a good performance needed to take them over the line.

The Red Devils will also be without forward Joe Shorrocks after he was awarded a two-match ban that has been upgraded to a three-match suspension.

The loose-forward was charged with Grade D ‘Head Contact’ following a collision with Leeds Rhinos’ Brodie Croft, incurring 15 penalty points as a result.

Salford Red Devils will also be hoping to improve last seasons form against the home side – as the Red Devils haven’t won at Sewell Group Craven Park since February 23 2019 winning 22-24.

And with the slow start to the season, they will most certainly be hoping to turn this winless run around and kick start their campaign.

The fixture will be showcased on Sky Sports Super League Plus for fans who are unable to travel – and the match will begin at 20:00 and tickets to the game can be found here.
