Officers are appealing for information after a man in his 60s sadly died following a road traffic collision in Worsley.

Three vehicles were involved in the incident that occurred on Chaddock Lane, Worsley, yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 23 February 2025) at around 4:20pm.

The road traffic collision saw a Citroen C3 travelling inbound to Worsley before colliding with a stationary Toyota Rav 4 at a set of traffic lights.

The third vehicle involved was a Renault Master – which was hit by the Toyota due to the impact from the Citroen.

Following the collision, the driver of the Citroen, a man in his 60s was taken to hospital, where he sadly died after a suspected medical episode/While the occupants of the Toyota and the Renault were uninjured.

A spokesperson from the GMP said: “Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now appealing for information as their enquiries continue.

“This includes any relevant dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident.”
