Salford residents should plan ahead of journeys, as Frederick Road will be closed for ‘essential’ preparatory works until the beginning of March.
The road will be shut between Lissadel Street and Leslie Hough Way from Monday 3 February to 2 March 2025.
The works over the next four weeks, will force residents of Salford to make a diversion via Cromwell Road, with the closure being part of the Salford Rise preparatory works.
Salford City Council shared: “These essential works will include the installation of new drainage connections around the Frederick Road and Wynne Street junction, ahead of the main construction works of the iconic pedestrian and cyclist bridge.”
