Shields Gallery each space has its own unique story, from ghostly tales to connections with notable historical figures, such as the Radclyffe family, which owned the hall for generations.
The tour also highlights fascinating aspects of daily life in bygone eras, shedding light on the hall’s architecture, artifacts, and the people who once walked its halls.
Sarah, heritage facilitator at Ordsall Hall, said: “It seems to have been a big survivor over the centuries and even become a big part of the local community.
“People are very proud of the history and having it on their doorstep.
“People are fascinated by the different time periods and how it goes back to like the 1360s in one of the bedroom.”
Ordsall Hall remains a community treasure and offers these tours to connect locals and visitors alike to Salford’s deep historical roots.
As well as these tours they host weddings as well as immersive days for primary schools.
Sarah said: “We don’t break out of character. So, they really feel like they’re time travelling.”
