Two sisters have launched the care service, CareYourWay, that aims to deliver exceptional home care in Salford and Eccles.
Sisters Becky Whitehouse and Beth McCarthy have been aiming to change the standard of home care in the North west, and thought of making change.
The support service started by the two sisters and will cover Salford, Eccles, and Middleton with the motivation coming from personal family experiences and a deep-rooted passion for helping others.
CareYourWay are hoping to help the lives of those living in Salford, and deliver home care services after witnessing first-hand the challenges their mum faced following major surgery last year.
Becky said: “Our mum’s operation opened our eyes to the critical need for genuinely empathetic, quality care for people in their own homes.
“Seeing her struggle, with her independence being severely limited, made us realise how much of a difference compassionate and tailored support can make in someone’s life.
“It was then that we knew we had to take action.”
CareYourWay offers a wide range of services, from regular home care appointments and companionship visits, through to comprehensive live-in care.
But the duo believe their isn’t only one way of looking after memebers in the community, as Becky’s sister, Beth continued: “We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
“Every client is unique, and so is their care plan. Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, organising a favourite activity, or simply being there for a chat.
“We’re here to make life easier and more enjoyable for everyone.”
Becky continued: “We hear so many stories about carers who just come in, do the bare minimum, and leave after just a few minutes.
“It’s something so small that can still make such a difference to a person’s day.
“Our philosophy is built around understanding and exceeding the client’s unique needs, offering a higher quality of care that gives them back their independence.”
An example of this is one of Becky and Beth’s clients who loved visiting the hairdressers and doing her own shopping, but could no longer manage it due to declining health.
The team made arrangements so the client could get out of the house and once again enjoy these cherished activities.
As Beth added: “Our approach goes far beyond meeting basic needs.
“We want to make sure every client feels valued, respected, and empowered.”
And this message through the support that they offer, as Beth continued: “We’re here to make a real difference. Our message is simple: we’re not just about keeping you safe and comfortable at home.
“We want you to keep doing the things that make you happiest. Whatever that may be, we’re here to help.”
