Littleton Road

Salford police are diverting traffic along the Littleton Road following a road traffic collision, with one person being taken to hospital. 

The incident was reported this evening (Monday 13 January) around 5.45pm, with multiple police vehicles in attendance.

The incident was believed to be between a road traffic collision between a push bike and a car, with the rider being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A spokesperson from the Salford GMP said: “It is an RTC (Road Traffic Collision) between a push bike and a car. Rider has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

The incident was reported to have happened by the Salford Sports Village by Riverbank Park, with multiple police vehicles in attendance.

Those travelling in that direction may experience traffic delays following the collision Salford police have been diverting traffic around the incident.

Following the incident an eye-witness stated: “Police have blocked off Littleton Road with lots of police vans.

“The collision happened outside the park just past the Salford Sports Village.”
