Salford City will make the short journey up to Accrington this weekend hoping to maintain their winning form.
The Ammies will be hoping to secure all three points, walking into the fixture with confidence, following on from their dominant 3-0 victory over Notts County.
And with the impressive victory, will be looking to take advantage of Accrington Stanley’s recent form as they walk into the fixture without a win in the past five games.
However, Salford will have to be prepared as Accrington will be hoping to change their fortune before Christmas, with John Doolan’s side currently sat 21st in the league table.
‘The ‘Owd Reds’ last victory in the league coming on November 9, with a 3-0 victory against Chesterfield – with Josh Woods, Zach Awe, and Jimmy Knowles
But despite their poor form, Accrington were able to join Salford in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup after beating Swindon Town on penalties, 2-2 (4-1 on penalties).
However, this will be easily forgotten with the Ammies walking into the game with only one defeat in all competitions from the last six.
And after a dominant 3-0 win, Conor McAleny returned to the scoring sheet and Cole Stockton scored a brace, pushing the club back into the top half of the table.

A win for Karl Robinsons side will look to provide a stronghold in the top of the table, and depending on results it could see them climb as high as 9th.
And with only three fixtures remaining in 2024, Salford City will be hoping to reaffirm their position in the race for promotion, currently four points off the playoff positions.
The game will kick off at 3pm at the Wham Stadium, with the Ammies hoping to get their final win before Christmas. More information can be found here.
