A football freestyler performed at the Peninsula Stadium as a part of his football stadium tour in support of Mental Health UK. 

The football freestyler Jay Rosa featured at half time at the home of Salford City FC on Tuesday 3 December where he showcased his amazing skills. 

The freestyler was able to perform in front of over 1,800 spectators, when Salford City played Harrogate Town. 

The Ammies were able to secure the three points, winning the game 2-0, with the home side leading 1-0 as Jay took to the field.

He said: “The fans were a great support and it was a good reception. Quite a few donations came in from this appearance which is positive and it’s one step closer to my goal of 116 stadiums’

After performing at over 40 stadiums, I think i’m used to the buzz of it now, but it’s still something I always look forward to.”

Throughout his tour, Jay has been able to capture the attention of football fans across England, setting the goal of performing at every football league stadium in the country in support of Mental Health UK. 

Mental Health UK are a supportive charity that have been delivering support to those in need. The mental health charirty deliver support suffering from money problems, loneliness and isolation.

Jay said: “After giving up football when I was around 15, I slowly realised that it wasn’t the best decision.

“Everything went downhill from then onwards, and I began to notice how debilitating your mental health can become and how it affects others.”

He continued: I wanted to try to promote a change in the way mental health is dealt with as a whole. I decided to combine the two together, and live out my dream of performing in stadiums  simultaneously.

The freestyler embarked on his EFL Tour in January 2023 and has impressed fans and audiences – with the Peninsula Stadium being the latest destination in his tour. 

My goal is to perform at every football league stadium in the country to support and raise donations for Mental Health.”

The skillful footballer has been able to perform at the most iconic football stadiums in England, at clubs like Blackburn Rovers, Nottingham Forest, Coventry City. 

The freestyler will be looking to perform in over 50 stadiums during the 2024/25 season and will be hoping to complete the challenge.

Although he has one in mind

His performances not only entertain but also support meaningful causes, and his journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
