Salford City continue their League Two campaign on Saturday when they travel to Priestfield Stadium at 3pm to face mid-table outfit Gillingham.
The two sides will in an important league match for both sides, as Gillingham sit directly behind Salford in the table, with the sides in 11th and 12th respectively.
A win would see Gillingham leapfrog Salford, with another win for them could mean they get promoted to ninth in the table with 27 points.
An in-form Salford team are unbeaten in the last four matches, winning the last two.
The Ammies will also be looking to maintain this winning form into December, following the recent news that they will play Manchester City in the FA Cup.
And with a convincing win against Harrogate Two on Tuesday 3 December, beating the “Sulphurites” 2-0 thanks to the help of Ben Woodburn and Cole Stockton.
Cole Stockton, who signed for the Ammies in the summer, has now scored in the past two games to become the clubs joint top goal scorer this season in League Two so will be one to look out for.
Despite back-to-back defeats for Gillingham, a win in this game means they would overtake Salford in the table.
Gillingham have won each of their last three league games against Salford City, winning those matches by a combined 6-1 aggregate score.
However, Salford have lost just one of their last nine away league games, despite both scoring and conceding nine goals during that time.
Gillingham have lost four of their last five home league games, so that could give Salford fans some hope of a third consecutive win.
