Both Reece and Lee Briers made their return to the UK recently after Lee took up a coaching role with Super League team, St Helens.
But for the progress of his career, Reece will have big shoes to fill following his fathers impressive goal kicking career.
Lee spent the majority of his career at Warrington Wolves, playing 425 games and racking up a club-record of 2,586 points.
Reece Briers will be coached by his father’s former Warrington team-mate Paul Wood, who was recently brought in as head coach for the Lions.
The Lions will hope Reece, and their other new additions, can play their part in a positive League One campaign after last season’s relegation.
