The historic Salford pub The Black Friar will be preparing for the festive season with an all new dining experience.
The pub will reveal the new showstopping festive display ahead of the Christmas celebrations that will include a cosy Winter Tavern, complete with roaring fires and traditional holiday decor.
The display has been constructed by floral artists Kelly Lousie Chapman, that will encourage guests to settle in the Christmas occasion.
The festive decor will be on display from Thursday 7 November, with the entire front of the building to be unveiled with a magical display.
However, that won’t be the only thing on offer for guests.
The newly decorated Black Friar pub will also offer families and friends a new festive menu – that will look to entice guests.
The menu will include dishes like Lobster & Prawn Scotch Egg, Turkey Ballotine, and decadent desserts such as the Baileys & Salted Caramel Yule Log.
The restaurant will be offering the guests an exciting two course meal for £37 or three for £45.
The menu will be on offer from November 18 until December 30, with the popular Sunday Roast menu continuing every Sunday.
The unique and independently owned pub, had an extensive refurbishment in 2021, and has allowed the previously derelict building to come back to life.
And following the £1.4 million restoration, has looked after the Grade II listed pub that has allowed the venue to hold over 220 visitors, whilst creating a “harmony between the old and new.”
Since then the pub has gone from strength to strength, and it looks that this Christmas it will be no different for those in the surrounding area.
Restaurant guests will be able to either book via the website, or they will be able to walk-in to conquer their festive desires.
And despite the Christmas excitement of the new decorations and menu, Black Friars will continue to offer their regular classic menu Monday to Friday.
