Minor delays to be expected along the Eccles tram line

Residents and commuters around Salford are expected to see minor delays along the Eccles tram line this evening.

The disruption that occurred at 5:32pm this evening (Tuesday 29 October), where a broken down bus has blocked the tracks.

The blockage of the tramline is known to be around Weaste along the Ashton-Under-Lyne through to Eccles line. 

Commuters can expect delays to some services in the area and on the line.

The metrolink have apologised to travelling Salford residents saying: “Metrolink apologises for any delay caused to your journey.”
