There will be a lot of excitement surrounding the event, as Emma Barnes said: ” Although she is no longer with us her work lives on, and she really paved the way for Northern women working in comedy.

“For those aspiring writers Jasper does a really good job of explaining how he shifted from journalism into writing a biography and the process of conducting interviews with her families and friends.”

Emma continued: “I absolutely was a big fan of her growing up, I thought it was great to see northern women represented on TV.”

As Emma added: “I think for myself and other people felt like they knew her and the biography uncovers some things that will have come as a surprise to her fans.

“So the first 45 minutes will be me interviewing Jasper and discussing the criticisms of the book and success of the book, his writing process and then we’ll hear the unreleased song and at the end the audience will be able to have a discussion with him.”

The show will begin from 7:30pm this Thursday, and the show will be open to the whole community.

The event has no official set price with theatre requesting that guests to buy tickets by a pay what you can basis or what you can afford.
