Salford drivers and pedestrians need to be prepared for horrible weather this week, with the Met office issuing a yellow warning over the city.
Heavy rainfall is expected to fall over the city with the Met Office predicting 20-40mm today.
The amber warning is for travel disruptions and areas of flooding.
The Met Office has warned in a statement that “a spell of persistent and at times heavy rain is expected to affect the northwest of Wales and northeast of England”.
“20-40mm is expected to fall quite widely with a few places seeing up to 60mm during the course of the day”.

The Met Office have continued by sharing what they can expect from today’s weather warning.
As they have shared that they expect that some homes can be expected to flood, with businesses in areas also being a possibility.
They have also shared that commutes can be expected to be affected with journey times taking longer for bus and train services.
And pedestrians can expect to see spraying from vehicles, and flooding on the roads that will lengthen journey times.
