Salford City will look to maintain their winning league form this weekend, as they set their sights on Walsall.
The Ammies came off the back of a hard fought victory against Cheltenham last weekend with substitute Hakeeb Adelakun making the difference.
The phenomenal forward opened his Salford account with a brace as The Ammies recovered from an early second-half setback as he lit up the crowd of the Peninsula.
The win was able to take the Karl Robinson’s side up to thirteenth after securing their second victory of the season, with their other win coming against MK Dons.
However, despite the victory last weekend the Ammies will have a difficult challenge ahead of themselves Salford losing both of their last two meetings.
With the Saddlers starting the new season in impressive form, winning four of the opening six games, with their last league victory coming against Bradford City.
With Danny Johnson’s late winner secured all three points for Walsall, sending them to fourth position in the league.
The late 2-1 victory against the Bantams will be giving Mat Sadler’s side a lot of confidence heading into this weeks fixture, as they travel to the North West.

With the added confidence of beating Fulham’s Under 21 side 1-0 in the EFL Trophy.
Walsall fans could also expect to see the debut of 20-year-old Rico Browne, who signed for the club after impressing them during a trial – the defender has signed for the club on a year with the option for an additional year.
However, Mat Sadler’s side will have to be cautious with the Ammies coming into the game with full confidence.
Karl Robinsons side will be entering the game following a three game unbeaten run in the league, collecting seven points during that period.
The Ammies last league defeat came on the 20th August in a 2-0 loss to Port Vale.
A win would see the Ammies move into the top half of the table, and will be a huge turning point for Salford who have struggled to gain momentum since their play off push two season ago.
