Police officers are appealing for information following a serious collision in Salford that has left a man with life threatening injuries.
Officers were notified at around 12:50pm on Friday 13 September, with reports being called after two vehicles collided on Park Lane in Broughton.
It is believed that a BMW 420i collided with a parked and stationary Vauxhall Mokka, travelling in a north easterly direction.
The collision has reported after the BMW collided with a stationary vehicle injuring a victim who is believed to be in their 70’s.
The stationary Vauxhall Mokka was shunted backwards by the travelling vehicle.
With the shunted vehicle then colliding with the victim who was at the back of his car.
The victim and owner of the car, is believed to be a man in his 70s, leaving him with some serious injuries.
With the police providing details that the serious injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone around the area of Park Lane in Broughton, Salford with any known information to come forward.
The police are now encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the innocent first hand on Friday afternoon to come forward.
With the SCIU also being very keen to hear from anyone in the area to provide any footage that they may have, which can include dashcam, mobile or doorbell footage.
Officers are hoping to collect any notable footage in the surrounding area, that may provide some support for the moments leading up to the collision.
