exhibition Little Hulton

A free one-day exhibition showcasing artwork from Salford residents is coming to Mustard Tree in Little Hulton this September.

The exhibition at the charity’s centre on Haysbrook Avenue on September 11 is part of the Salford CVS ‘Whose Art, Whose Culture’ project. The sessions explore and celebrate the art, culture, and heritage of Salford diverse communities.

The sessions have been facilitated by Salford-born artist Chelsea Davies, who is Salford Precinct’s first ever Artist in Residence. Chelsea is well-known for her artistic work across the city, including projects with Briar Hill Court and Salford Shopping Centre.

The one-day exhibition will showcase art from the first part of project, created by local residents of Little Hulton and the wider Walkden and Salford area.

The exhibition will be held upstairs at Mustard Tree’s hub between 11am – 3pm on Wednesday September 11. The Community Shop – which now has extended opening hours – will be open until 4pm.

The exhibition is free and no tickets are required for entry. For more details, please email information@mustardtree.org.uk

The next workshop will begin one week after the exhibition – those who would like to take part in the next workshop can register interest by emailing information@mustardtree.org.uk or calling 0161 228 7331.
