Park Lane and Upper Park Road have been listed as the most expensive streets in Salford when it comes to buying a home.
Professional fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the Salford postcodes.
It’s important to note that Property Solvers only ranked streets in Salford that had over three sales.
On Park Lane (M7), three properties sold for an average of £1,006,666. On Upper Park Road (M7), eight properties sold for an average of £699,687. Also, Cavendish Road (M7) saw three properties sell for an average of £660,000.
On the other hand, the study also determined some of the cheapest residential streets in Salford. Chapel Street and Broughton Road appeared to be the top two cheapest streets in Salford for buying a home.
On Chapel Street (M3) four properties sold for an average of £53,750, while on Broughton Road (M6) four properties sold for an average of £62,750.
The Peninsula Building in Kersal (M7) came in third, where eight properties sold for an average of £64,125.
Commenting on the data Property Solvers co-founder, Ruban Selvanayagam, said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”
“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on New Kings Head Yard (M3) sold for £2,592,892 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £48,000 and under on X1 Town Hall (M3), Innings Drive (M3) and City View (M3).”
