Police are appealing for information after a five-year-old boy suffered life changing injuries from a crash on Southern Street in Salford.
The incident happened on Thursday last week (June 27) when police were called to reports of a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The five-year-old boy was taken to hospital after sadly sustaining life changing injuries.
Currently, no arrests have been made as of yet.
A force statement read: “At 6:45pm yesterday (Thursday 27 June), we were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Southern Street, Salford, between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
“A five-year-old boy was taken to hospital for further treatment. His injuries are believed to be life changing. The vehicle remained at the scene to assist with enquiries. No arrests have been made at this stage.
“Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
