RHS Garden Bridgewater pride

RHS Garden Bridgewater in Worsley is to stage a ‘stunning’ new pride parade as part of their Pride In Nature event this June.

The new parade is part of the garden’s one-day pride festival on Saturday June 30, which marks the end of Pride month in June.

The event will include Drag Queen Gardeners’ Question Time, Banner-making workshop, Wildflower – a pop-up performance by Curious Arts and a special LGBTQIA+ community discussion.

By building on the success of previous events, RHS Garden Bridgewater claim the day will be packed with talks, workshops, storytelling and top tips from gardening experts.

RHS Garden Bridgewater claim the event, now in its third year, has been made possible through their ‘close connections’ between the Greater Manchester LGBTQIA+ community and the local environment.

The festival will take place at a variety of locations within the Salford garden off Leigh Road between 10am and 6pm.

All special events are free with a garden ticket.
