The children at Springwood Primary School have created a lovely new piece of artwork in Irlam.
The new artwork painting on the Freedom Fibre cabinet on Liverpool Road depicts a large tree with handprints as leaves, each one individually designed by the pupils.
The Springwood Primary School in Swinton serves the whole of Salford and currently offers places for pupils aged four to 11 years, all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan.
A spokesperson at Freedom Fibre said: “We are so proud of the students and the artwork they have created for us, and we are delighted to be able to display this art so publicly.
“Hiring a designer would have been the more conventional option, but we were keen to showcase local talent and get the local community involved. We were delighted when Springwood Primary School in Irlam reached out. They were so enthusiastic about their pupils being involved in the project.
“If you’re out in Irlam, make sure you make a trip to see the active cabinet!”
Freedom Fibre is currently rolling out its broadband network to homes and businesses in and around Irlam.
