Swinton Lions Rugby League club have been hosting sponsor networking events in attempts to bring their sponsors closer together and give back to those who help support the club throughout the season.
The club have held multiple events at different venues including their home ground Heywood Road in Sale, Salford Town Hall and are hosting another event for sponsors and charities on May 3 at Heywood Road.
The aim of the networking events is to allow sponsors to connect with each other to form potential partnerships and new business opportunities through the club.
Andrew Unwin, director of the Lions, said the club want to link everyone together including the Mayor and councillors who attended the event hosted at the town hall which was much appreciated by the club
The club’s partners include Northwest Cancer Research which has since led to funding for the Christie Cancer Hospital through another of its business partners.
