The Ammies lost the game in the final ten minutes with Harrogate Town forward Abraham Odoh scoring in the 80th minute.
In their last five matches against each other, Salford City has defeated Harrogate Town three times and are hoping to have a similar outcome this Saturday.
Following their 1-0 win against Newport County last Saturday, Salford City may have a chance to win this weekend.
The Ammies had dominated possession throughout the game and even had seven shots on target.
Starboy Matt Smith had scored an extra time howler in the 92nd minute carrying the team to victory.
