The stage adaption of Khaled Hosseini’s international bestselling novel, The Kite Runner, is returning to The Lowry this May.
The show, adapted by Matthew Spangler, and directed by Giles Croft, will be coming to The Lowry from May 7 until May 11 as part of its UK tour.
The book is set in Afghanistan, a country on the verge of war and two best friends are about to be torn apart.

One Broadway season and two West End seasons have garnered international acclaim for this story.
The cast includes Stuart Vincent (Amir), Yazdan Qafouri (Hassan/Sohrab), Dean Rehman (Baba), Daphne Kouma (Soraya), Bhavin Bhatt (Assef), Tiran Aakel (Ali/Farid), Ian Abeyesekera (Gen Taheri), Christopher Glover (Ramin Khan), Aram Mardourian (Kamal), Stanton Wright (Wali), Amar Aggoun (ensemble), Sulin Hasso (ensemble), and Hanif Khan (Tabla player).
