Kyle Ratcliffe appeared via video link in Manchester Crown court from HMP Forest Bank in Salford as he admitted to two offences of exposure.
Kyle, 36, father to Eddie Ratcliffe who was convicted of the murder of Brianna Ghey, admitted two counts of indecent exposure which occurred just four days before his son’s trial in November.
The offence involved a pair of 16-year-old girls at a bus stop. Ratcliffe also admitted to making an indecent image of a child by taking a taking a mobile phone video of a prepubescent girl taking off her swimsuit at a public swimming pool in Cheshire.
Police also found that his phone contained internet searches for indecent images of schoolgirls indulging in explicit sexual activity.
Ratcliffe has two previous convictions for indecent exposure, and was ordered to undergo a rehabilitation programme.
Kyle Ratcliffe was jailed after admitting the offences and was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment.
Eddie Ratcliffe, along with Scarlett Jenkinson, stabbed Brianna Ghey to death on 11 February, 2023.
Ratcliffe and Jenkinson, both 16, carried out the “disturbing” plan to murder Brianna, 16, in a “frenzied and ferocious” knife attack and have been jailed for life with minimum terms of 20 and 22 years respectively before parole.
