Bert’s House comedy play is coming to Salford Arts Theatre on Tuesday March 12 and Wednesday March 13 at 7:30 pm.
Prepare for an evening of laughter as the comedy play Bert’s House hits the road, making a pitstop at the Salford Arts Theatre for two nights this March.
The production promises a “sea-side-splitting experience” filled with humour, quirky characters, and unexpected twists.
Written by the talented comedian Lou Chawner, Bert’s House invites audiences to step inside the charmingly chaotic Dunedin Guest House. Run by the tight-fisted yet kind-hearted Bert, “this seaside abode would be his paradise if it weren’t for all the guests.”
As the story unfolds, Bert must navigate the challenges brought by pesky guests and a new employee.
Juggling responsibilities and mysteries alike, he grapples with questions about the Robinsons’ true intentions, Jane’s identity, and the enigma of the unpleasant Mr. Stevens. All the while, the comedy promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats with laughter.
The play, produced by On The Shore Productions, features Lou Chawner himself as Bert, alongside a stellar cast including Lisa Ronaghan as Emily, Isla Fleury making her professional debut as Jane, Scott Bradley as the mysterious Mr. Stevens, Gemma Boaden as Vanessa Robinson, and Taresh Solanki as Michael Robinson.
Tickets are available on the Salford Arts Theatre website here.
Please note that the play contains strong language and is recommended for audiences aged 15 and above.
