An established author is inviting Salford to the reading, performance and discussion of his newest publication at the University of Salford.
The reading of Scott Thurston’s newest publication ‘Turning’ takes place on February 27 at The New Adelphi Building.
The author has over twenty books and numerous works of literary criticism. He is the founding co-editor of the Journal of British and Irish Innovative Poetry and collaborates with dancers and therapists, most notably on Arts for the Blues – a new creative arts psychotherapy model.
His newest publication, ‘Turning’, is a collection of Scott’s poems over the past 30 years. To be able to experience it fully, the personal event will be an opportunity to connect to the poems like never before.
Scott Thurston is a a trainee person-centred counsellor at the University of Salford where he is also Chair in Poetry and Innovative Creative Practice.
The evening starts at 6.30pm with free admission, tickets need to be booked in advance through the link.
