An area at Patricroft Recreation Ground in Eccles has been taped off following reports of a serious sexual assault.
At around 8.55pm last night (January 24) police were called to the reports of a serious sexual assault near to Barton Lane, Eccles.
Police have confirmed that a taped scene will remain in place at the park while officers conduct their enquiries “to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
No arrests have been made at this stage.
