Salford City head to their furthest away game of the year as they visit Crawley Town in League Two on Saturday.
The Red Devils were widely tipped to go down at the start of the season, but have dismissed any doubts with their consistency and head into tomorrow in ninth place.
Manager Karl Robinson held media duties for the Ammies ahead of the contest, but will not be involved due to his dismissal in the 2-2 draw with Forest Green Rovers.
Assistant Coach Simon Wiles will take charge once more, after his short stint as interim manager following the sacking of Neil Wood at the end of 2023.

The last-minute penalty scored by Ryan Watson last weekend marked Salford’s first point in the fourth division since a 0-0 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon.
It has been a torrid season for the Ammies in 2023/24, with the club sitting in 21st place on 24 points. They are six points ahead of the League Two drop zone, currently occupied by Forest Green and Sutton United.
Robinson did hint that some players will be back and fit in his press conference, saying: “We have lots of players returning now and we are very close to a full-strength side and we are possibly close to getting new faces in on short term deals, as we do need to strengthen and think of the future of the side.”
The last time the two sides met was a 1-1 draw back in August, with Conor McAleny nullifying a Luke Garbutt own goal to split the points evenly.
Crawley Boss Scott Lindsey’s first match in charge of the Sussex club was a 3-2 win over the Ammies in January last year.
