Ex-Cornwall RFC star Joe Purcell has signed for Swinton Lions to provide extra strength in defence.
The versatile player can play at both half-back and full-back in what will be an important signing for the Lions.
Swinton Lions Head Coach, Alan Kilshaw, said: “Joe had a really good breakout season for Cornwall in 2022 which caught my attention.
“He can play full-back or half-back and has lots of development in front of him.
“We feel that in our environment he can really progress and reach his potential.”
