With Halloween merely weeks away these are some of the events that are taking place across Salford, ranging from children’s events to those just for adults.
Ordsall Hall Halloween Ghost Hunt, 9pm – 2am
Ordsall halls annual ghost hunt is back where you will be given the chance to camp down in the grounds and experience the spooky goings-on. You will also have the opportunity to use equipment such as a Ouija board an other haunting experiments for you to try out. The event will be held on October 28 and is strictly for those 18 or over. Tickets cost £47.50 and booking fees apply.
Ordsall Hall, Salford
Ordsall Hall's most famous ghost is the White Lady. Salford Museum, Spooky Afternoon Tea, 12pm – 1pm
If you are looking for something fun to do with the younger ones then this is perfect. It gives the kids the chance to dress in their favourite spooky costume and enjoy some Halloween themed food and drink. This event will be held on October 21, 22, 24 and 29. Adult tickets cost £8.95 and children’s tickets cost £8.95.

Walkden cricket club, Family Halloween Party – 7pm – 10:30pm
Looking for a even for the whole family? Walkden cricket club is hosting a Halloween themed party open to everyone, it is an opportunity for everyone to dress up and have some fun. Adult entry costs £4, children’s entry costs £6 and those under 12 months get in for free. Click here for tickets.
Night swim – The Quays, Salford.
If a night time swim is your thing then the Quays is holding their annual Halloween swim, this gives you the opportunity to swim a course and compete with others. a hot drink will be provided for you and you will be closely monitored. 12 – 16 year old’s must swim with an adult. Non members swim for £6 or £5.40 if you are a WSC member. Click here for tickets.

Walkden Shopping Center, Totally Gruesome
From October 20-31 there will be a Halloween themed trail for all ages with puzzles and themed rooms, this will be spooky fun for the whole family. Tickets cost £9.95.
Chimney Pot Park – Pumpkin Carving, 12pm – 4pm
If you are looking for somewhere less spooky to spend time with the family then get down to Chimney Pot Park and carve some pumpkins. Activities are free and for those that participate in them, there will be a free meal provided. the event will take place on October 24.
