A lorry has been jammed underneath Walkden railway bridge, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
A Home Bargains truck got caught under the bridge this lunchtime (Friday 8 September), after being too tall to fit underneath.
Emergency services and rescue vehicles are currently at the scene attempting to release the lorry.
According to a post made by MP Barbara Keeley, traffic is set to be affected on Memorial Road “for some time”. Commuters have been reminded to access Memorial Road via Park Road and Stanley Road.
