Three people have been hospitalised following a car accident at Salford Precinct.
Emergency services were called to Salford Shopping Centre at around 12.25pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 September) after reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.
The 72-year-old driver, as well as the two pedestrians were taken to hospital for injuries which are not life-threatening.
Police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle had some form of medical emergency behind the wheel.
A statement from GMP said: “Police were called to Salford Shopping Centre on Pendleton Way to reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrians at 12.25pm yesterday (6 September 2023).
“Three people, including the 72-year-old driver of the vehicle, were taken to hospital for treatment on injuries which are not life-threatening.”
