Lioness and star midfielder, Ella Toone, was in-and-amongst fans during Salford’s win over Leeds United last night.
The England star was photographed smiling at last night’s (Tuesday 29 August) game, which saw The Ammies advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup, eliminating Championship side Leeds United in a tense penalty shootout.
Fresh from Spain’s defeat over England in last week’s Women’s World Cup final, Toone was spotted sporting a light blue puffer coat and cheering alongside fans.

Salford took the lead through former Leeds forward Matt Smith in the 34th minute to take them into halftime.
The shock lead resulted in Neil Wood’s side having to defend and dig deep to advance, especially after conceding a 76th-minute equaliser from Pascal Struijk.
Nonetheless, it was the retaken 20th penalty of the shootout from Ossama Ashley that sent them through 9-8.
