Critically acclaimed musical parody Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch is set to return to The Lowry.

Back by popular demand, the musical is set to hit The Lowry stage in early 2024, direct from London, after a sell-out run in 2022.

Detailing the hidden story of the octo-woman Disney villain, this latest version of the hit show is bigger, bolder and sexier than ever before.

The queer, plus-sized, pop culture icon’s story will be accompanied by a filthy pop soundtrack, much loved characters as you’ve never seen them before and enough (eco-friendly) glitter to keep you sparkling all the way home.

The smash-hit show was written by Robyn Grant and Daniel Foxx, with music by award-winning composer and musicals-writer Tim Gilvin.

UNFORTUNATE will be at The Lowry from Thursday 22 February to Saturday 3 March 2024. Age Guidance: 16+ years old. For more information, visit The Lowry website.
