A Salford pub has reopened after a month-long, six-figure renovation.
The Royal Sovereign, on Eccles Old Road, reopened last week after a revamp saw the pub decked out with a new dining and bar area, with 42 seats added, and the exterior of the building transformed into a comfortable space with heated pergolas and an outdoor TV.
The pub is also dog friendly both inside the bar area, and outside.
The pub runs a full programme of regular events such as a quiz night every Thursday and open mic night every Wednesday, along with live themed entertainment on the last Friday of every month.
Sean Ashworth, general manager of the Royal Sovereign, said: “Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends or enjoy the live sports and events, all are welcome at the Royal Sovereign.
“Our new garden is a point we are particularly proud of, as thanks for the renovation we have one of the biggest and best beer gardens in Salford.
“The revamp has completely revitalised the atmosphere in the pub, and we’re confident that with our improved facilities we’ll be proud to offer our guests an even better drinking, dining and social experience.”
