Five people have been injured after a fight broke out during a festival at Barton Aerodrome.
Fighting started after an attempted robbery by a group of men at around 8pm on Saturday evening (July 15) at one of stages of the Mvson World festival at Barton Aerodrome.
Five people received injuries during the fight, but these are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The men are believed to have left shortly after via the main entry route to the event, heading onto Liverpool Road and turning left.
Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
Detective Inspector Kellie Lawson, of GMP’s Salford district, said: “This was a shocking incident at an event in which people were there to enjoy themselves – and we are doing what we can to find those responsible.
“I would ask anyone who saw anything last night to please get in touch with us. I would also ask anyone nearby who may have dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage, to contact us.
