German sports giant adidas will become the new kit makers for Salford City.
The iconic three stripes replace Castore as creators of all of the Ammies’ sports and leisurewear, which will be in association with Pro:Direct.
Three new kits designed by adidas will be revealed in mid-July, whilst the training wear will be seen as soon as players arrive from their summer break.
Pro:Direct will distribute these new lines of products through their Clubhouse shop.
The new deal will make Salford the 9th club in the EFL to have adidas as their manufacturer, joining sides such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Fulham.
Ammies CEO Nicky Butt said: “We are thrilled to announce this deal with adidas and Pro:Direct as kit manufacturer and distributors. They are iconic in world sport with a fantastic history and great pedigree, and we are looking forward to working with them during the coming seasons.
“Everyone at the Club is excited for the 2023-24 season, and part of that is a fresh new look that we hope supporters will like and can be excited about too.”
Chris Walsh of adidas added: “We are delighted to officially announce a long-term partnership with Salford City, in collaboration with ProDirect. The club and the fanbase’s passion for football and community, make them the perfect addition to our adidas family. Salford City are looking to the future with big ambitions, and we feel excited to be a part of their journey.”
