Walkden Library is set to temporarily close for one week for essential “improvements”.
The library’s closure, from Monday 26 June to Monday 3 July, was announced this morning (Friday 23 June) by Salford Community Libraries (SCL) in a Facebook post.
The exact nature of the “improvements” carried out during the closure have not been confirmed.
SCL apologised for the closure, writing: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“All other libraries remain open as usual.”
