Broughton Leisure Centre’s gym is set to close for one month following maintenance work.
The news of the closure was announced today (Monday 19 June) by Salford Community Leisure.
The gym, including the Ladies-only gym, is set to close from Monday 3 July for a four-week period to replace the air-conditioning system.
The swimming pool, sauna and steam room will remain unaffected by the works.
Salford Community Leisure apologised for the inconvenience, stating: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause…Many thanks for your understanding whilst we work to improve Broughton Leisure Centre.”
Guests can choose to visit other centres in the area, or freeze memberships for the period. These will then be re-activated once the gym is reopened.
