RHS Bridgewater blossoms as centre reaches 1m visitors on second birthday

RHS Bridgewater has welcomed its one millionth visitor to the centre on the second anniversary of its opening.

The visitor, ‘Clare’, was presented with an RHS Lifetime Membership award last Thursday (18 May), whilst visiting the park to meet the Salford schools who are taking part in the new National Education Nature Parks programme.

Director General Clare Matterson and Head of Garden Richard Green presented the award exactly two years to the day the centre opened in 2021.

In a Facebook pose, the RHS Bridgewater team said: “Thank you to everyone who has visited and enjoyed the garden over the last two years, and here’s to the next million visitors.”
