A series of exercise classes supporting the 1,200 people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) across the region have been organised in Walkden and Swinton.
The gentle exercise classes, which are thought to manage some of the condition’s symptoms, such as fatigue and balance problems, are set to come to Walkden Gateway and Agnes Hopkins Centre weekly.
Available for anyone diagnosed with MS, as well as friends and family, the sessions will be delivered by Transcend Tribe well-being studio, who deliver low-impact and inclusive classes.
The sessions have been organised by Salford MS society, and come to Walkden on Mondays 11-12pm, and Swinton on Wednesdays 7-8pm.
The session is delivered by qualified instructors and is suitable for people of any ability and can be undertaken seated or standing, regardless of age or ability, including limited mobility.
Doctor’s permission is encouraged before attending the session.
